The Sims was a gem ever since it came out in 2000. The ability to build a house for a person or family, decorate it as you please, get your Sim an education and job, and watch them live their life was far more popular than watching movies, playing with your dog, or reading a review online, like the
22Bet Bonus Review. In a matter of years, everyone with a computer knew about the fictional lives and the ups and downs they experience. While we are still hooked on the fourth installment of the series, one can’t help but wonder whether there will be The Sims 5 and, if so, when?

The Sims 4

The Sims 4 came out in 2014 as the latest installment of one of the most popular games in the world. It has also proved to be very accommodating, as it is available on Windows, macOS, PS4, and Xbox One. Like with the previous installments of the game, there have been numerous expansions with additional options and challenges, like new jobs, interesting pets, or being famous. Why is all this relevant? Surely, other Sims games had similar options and expansions? While that is true, EA is trying its best to get the most out of this title before moving on to the next one, trying not to miss any business opportunities that might lie therein. Some fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with the company’s business practices in the past and we can guess that those that are eagerly awaiting the next title are not too happy about the ever-growing number of expansions.

Number 5

The things the fans request the most in this new game include open-world exploration similar to GTA and more DLC available at launch. But is this going to happen and when? There is one more issue about the game itself – the original creator, Will Wright, has left Maxis, the company famous for their simulation games, in order to work on a project of his own. That means that there is a chance the formula that has been working for nearly 20 years might be destroyed, though there is little basis to believe such a thing.

On the other hand, as stated before, EA needs to take all the profit it can get from number 4 before they start working on The Sims 5. An educated guess would be that we will not be seeing this new game for 3-5 years, or at least as long the company still produces new packs for the existing game.
